On Saturday, September 16, 2017, 900 volunteers joined together to remove over 6 tons of trash and recyclables from rivers throughout the Sierra Nevada as part of the 9th Annual Great Sierra River Cleanup. The Sierra Nevada Conservancy would like to thank all of the volunteers, our coordinators, our partners at California Coastal Commission, and our sponsor, Pacific Gas & Electric who made this year’s Cleanup such a huge success!
