E-Library
Welcome to the Sierra Nevada Conservancy Planning Data Electronic Library (E-library). The Sierra Nevada Conservancy is in the process of developing this interactive database as an online tool to provide access to plans, reports, studies, assessments, handbooks and other publicly available information relating to the geographic area and purposes of the Sierra Nevada Conservancy. Additional information on the Conservancy's purposes can be obtained by visiting the Strategic Planning page.
Documents listed in this database represent the Conservancy's best effort to locate federal, state and local plans called for in Public Resources Code section 33345, including general plans, recreation plans, urban water management plans, and groundwater management plans, as well as other documents deemed useful for evaluating, understanding or accomplishing one or more of the Conservancy's goals and purposes.
Documents in this E-library are primarily agency generated documents that were identified and acquired through contact with local, state and federal jurisdictions within the region, as well as searches for pertinent information in existing Web based databases, such as CERES or LUPIN. Additional documents were identified using links from various non-governmental organizations in the region, such as the Regional Council of Rural Counties (RCRC) and others, to provide additional information potentially relevant to Conservancy goals and purposes.
Conservancy staff will add or delete documents as new information becomes available.
This Web site is a work in progress. Please provide us with any feedback on content, broken links, or additional reports to consider by sending an email to libraryinfo@sierranevada.ca.gov.

Links and references to Web sites are provided for the convenience of the user only, and any use thereof shall be at the user's own risk.
The database contains over 500 links to federal, state, and local planning documents housed on hundreds of Web sites. Please read through the basic tips below to familiarize yourself with searching the database.
"ALL" and "-" Search Options
Selecting the "ALL" option in any search category tells the database that you want information relative to the entire Sierra Nevada Region. It will not yield all documents in your search parameters, and may nullify certain search parameters. If you desire your search to yield greater results select the "-" option instead. By selecting the "-" option, you are telling the database to not filter any information from the category selected.
Specific Searches
If you know some of the key words in a document you are looking for, we recommend using the "quick search" option located at the top of the query page.
To View all Links
If you would like to be able to scroll through the entire list of links in the database select the "-" option for every field.
Get More Information
If your search does not yield an active link, check for author contact information on the results page. Typically, there will be a phone number provided for more information.
Accuracy of Data
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy does not guarantee the accuracy, viability, or accessibility to links housed in this database. Electronic data and the Web sites that contain them are constantly changing. Please help the Conservancy to maintain and improve this site by sending an e-mail to libraryinfo@sierranevada.ca.gov with comments, suggestions, updated information and additional links.
