Doing Business with the SNC
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC) enthusiastically supports the Small Business and Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) programs. We are dedicated to meeting or exceeding the state mandated goals of 25% Small Business and 3% DVBE contract participation.
We are actively seeking state certified Small Business and DVBE owners within the Sierra Nevada region to provide goods and services for our programs. The Conservancy wishes to increase communication with the Small Business and DVBE communities, forming partnerships that will achieve success with both programs. It’s easy for eligible businesses to become certified as a Small Business or DVBE. Sierra Nevada Conservancy honored with SARA Award
The SNC is proud to announce earning the 2007 State Agency Recognition Award for Most Improved Small Business Participation. The award is a result of the SNC's commitment to securing goods and services from small businesses whenever possible. For fiscal year 2006-07, over 65% of our business was conducted with certified small businesses, well beyond the State's 25% goal. Congratulations to administration staff for all their efforts.
